To be held at the Embassy Suites located at 741 North Phillips Avenue, Oklahoma City, OK 73104. Room rates are $149 a night plus tax. Room rate includes breakfast. The hotel overnight parking is discounted to $10 per night.  The registration cost is $217 per person and includes:

 Call the Embassy Suites at 1-800-445-8667 or you can make your reservations online at https://group.embassysuites.com/if57ls no later than August 12, 2024 to make your room reservations. Be sure to mention you are with the B-52 Stratofortress Rendezvous to receive your group room rate of $149 plus tax per night. For attendees that would like to come in early or extend their stay after the Rendezvous the group room rate is available 3 days before and 3 days after the Rendezvous based on hotel room availability.

TOUR # 1 - TINKER AFLC & BOEING MILITARY HI-BAY FACILITY & LUNCH

Friday September 13th                         0830-1530                      Price $59

Air Force Logistics Command Depot Maintenance and Repair Tour. We have requested the AF provide a walking tour (mobility cart for attendees needing assistance) of their B-52 maintenance and repair facilities. The request also includes a tour of the jet if possible. Note: access to the jet will be limited as would be expected, and may not be possible for attendees requiring assistance. After this portion of the tour lunch will be provided, please make sure to select your lunch choice on the registration form. After lunch we will tour Boeing Military Airplane Company Hi-Bay Facility. We have requested a tour and briefing of the new Boeing Hi-Bay facility, followed by an update briefing on the B-52J. This is not a walking tour, and should not require special assistance for attendees.

 

TOUR # 2 - MYRIAD BOTANICAL GARDENS

Friday September 13th                         0930-1530                 Price $54

The Myriad Botanical Gardens is one of Oklahoma City’s most beloved public spaces, offering its visitors a 15-acre natural escape in the very heart of the metro known as downtown Oklahoma City. Take yourself on a journey of exploration at the Myriad Gardens. Wander around the Inasmuch Foundation Crystal Bridge Conservatory and discover the reflection pool, captivating plant collections, and admire the overlook terraces. One of the highlights is a waterfall feature that adds an enchanting touch to the tropical paradise. Immerse yourself in the world of plants with informative interpretive signage that reveals fascinating details about the diverse flora.. Before you leave, make sure to stop by the Myriad Gardens gift shop. After your visit to the garden, we will visit Bricktown where you will have time for exploring, shopping and lunch on your own.

                                                              

 

TOUR # 3 - THE NINETY NINE MUSEUM OF WOMENS PILOTS & 45TH INFANTRY MUSEUM

Saturday September 14th                       0930-1615                   Price $47

The 99s Museum of Women Pilots has over 5,000 square feet of displays and artifacts focused on preserving the history of women in aviation, and providing education and inspiration for young adults to enter the field of aviation and aerospace. Explore our large collection of artifacts and information on women pilots. Walk through the history of women in aviation from the earliest flights to the present day and enjoy permanent exhibits on famous women pilots. Women's flying heritage is filled with dynamic personalities who have charted the course to modern aviation. Lunch will be on your own at Bricktown. After Lunch we will visit the 45th Infantry Division Museum which has spectacular collection of military artifacts. Exhibits in the museum present these fascinating objects to narrate the military history of Oklahoma’s own 45th Infantry Division of the National Guard, also known as the Thunderbirds. The museum highlights other aspects of American military history as well. The museum showcases intriguing exhibits such as the Reaves Firearm Collection, in which basic infantry and cavalry weapons from the Revolutionary War to the Vietnam War are displayed. One of the most important items in the collection is the Mosby Cannon, Confederate cannon that was captured by the Union army in 1863 during the Civil War.
